Get started with your Career Launchpad Journey
Career Launchpad Has Two Separate Parts
Phase 1: Explore and Prepare
This phase focuses on learning, skill building, and planning for your future.
You will:
Explore careers that match your interests and strengths
Build workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, and resume writing
Learn how to advocate for yourself in school and at work
Plan for college, training, apprenticeships, or other pathways after high school
Phase 2: Optional Paid Work Experience
After completing training and securing employment, you may choose to participate in a paid work experience. This is a short-term employment opportunity of up to 100 hours with a local employer.
You first paid hours include required onboarding and orientation. IWSI America serves as the employer of record and manages payroll during this period.
Paid Work Experience is separate from training, and is not required.
